Celebrating a second year now on Mersey Radio(2025)

One Year. Hundreds of Great Songs. Countless Feelgood Moments.

In 2025, The Feelgood Radio Show entered an exciting new chapter by joining Mersey Radio.

Moving to a larger station gave the programme the opportunity to reach even more listeners across Merseyside and beyond, while continuing to deliver the music and features that had made the show so popular.

Over the past twelve months, presenter Paul Helsby has continued to bring together an eclectic mix of music spanning the decades, alongside brand-new discoveries and independent artists.

Regular features including Liverpool Sound, The Love Track, Country Rock, Unsigned Musicians and The Friday Feelgood Five have become a familiar part of Friday evenings for many listeners.

Throughout the year, the show has also evolved behind the scenes, with improved production, new jingles, refreshed branding and an exciting vision for the future.

The success of the programme has now opened the door to an even bigger ambition — making The Feelgood Radio Show available free of charge to community, hospital, internet, FM and DAB stations across the UK and around the world.

The goal is simple:

To spread the Feelgood experience far beyond one radio station.

As the show continues to grow, its values remain exactly the same as they were on day one:
